Heathdale Christian College Werribee - School Steel Manufacturing

Mechcon Welding and Fabrication was appointed to Design, Manufacture and Install the Metal Works Package at Heathdale Christian College Werribee in October 2022.

With a very tight schedule that was handed over, Mechcon executed the design and stainless steel fabrication of custom folded perf stair panels, along with the manufacture of spiral stair stainless steel handrailing and custom architectural balcony balustrades — all while keeping within program deadlines.

Any other company with less experience than ours would of made it almost impossible to achieve such a high end finish in such a short period.

The Stair Perforated Balustrade panels were a unique design that pushed the limits of folding and brake press parameters.

With the client’s initial concept idea given to Mechcon at the start of the project, our team was able to successfully create another real-life feature Stair Balustrade system that now sits front and centre to the newly built administration building being part of a $32 million dollar Victorian School Project.

In early January 2023 Mechcon once again was successfully handing over another large commercial project that had its unique complications, with the experience in construction, engineering and design the end result was for us was “ just another job”
