Mechcon have undertaken manufacture, supply and installation of various steel fabricated items required for KCES contracts with Melbourne water at the eastern treatment plant. These include fabricated, gratings , handrails and sludge, drying pan inlet structures and all steelwork for the 50 m wide by 4 m high floodway security fence incorporating flood relief gates. Mechcon welding and fabrication successfully completed contract. CGM/089120 for Goulburn Murray water in July 2017. This contract was for the steel fabrication and manufacture of 10 bulkhead gates for the Wangaratta basin inlet structures. Scope of works as follows. Manufacture, 10 steel bulkhead gates of approximate dimensions 3.4 high 2.3 metres approximately two tonnes each. Prepare and paint bulkheads testing and paint buildup, assembly bulkhead, custom manufactured seals and strips. All fabricated bulkhead draw gates were manufactured with Goulburn Murray Water authorities strict tolerances and specifications, and I would not hesitate to use the staff of Mechcon welding and fabrication again for similar works.

P/L on April 21 of 2006 Mechcon completed our first set of fabricated steel forms and tapered Steel pier protection barrier nose forms approximately 18 tonnes for the overpass structures on the Pakenham bypass. Having Mechcon Welding and Fabrication help change our system from modular Handrails, that we had done in the past, over to Architectural Stainless Steel Handrails, has been a real game changer for us, the difference is night and day in terms of visual appeal and also installation time frames.

I engaged Mechcon welding and fabrication to visit Site on 18 March 2024 in doing so a group meeting was organised to walk around the school and to observe the existing Handrails and their condition that they were currently in , some of these handrails and balustrades Had been damaged over the past couple of years, some more significant than others. Luke made decisions and created methods on how to rectify some of these damaged Handrails, after supplying the School and myself with a a thorough plan, and how to execute an efficient way of fixing these Handrails Mechcon worked after hours on site, putting in New Handrail's where required .
