Job: Sunbury Station Balustrade/ Handrail Upgrades

Description:

Mechcon was engaged to supply, fabricate and install metal work to the station upgrades on the Sunbury Electrification Project.

Sunbury and Diggers Rest required New Galvanised Handrails in and around the station including wheel chair ramps and car park areas. Sunbury Station required over 500 Lineal meters of kickrail to be installed on existing balustrade overpass structure.

New sections needed to be pre-fabricated then taken onsite and retro fitted to bring existing Balustrade and Handrailing up to correct AS 1428.1 requirements.
